Team Background and Founder
Founded in 2010, Paul Miller Racing has established itself as a consistent presence in top level North American sports car racing, built on deep experience, elite personnel, and a winning culture. Team founder Paul Miller brings a distinguished racing pedigree both behind the wheel and as a team owner. In the 1980s, he led the Porsche factory program in the Trans-Am Series and became a front-runner in IMSA endurance competition.
Early Competitive Highlights
The team's international crew brings decades of combined experience across every level of sports car racing, forming the foundation for Paul Miller Racing's reputation for precision and professionalism. A major breakthrough came in 2018, when the team partnered with Lamborghini Squadra Corse to capture the IMSA GTD Team, Driver, and Manufacturer Championships with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Momentum continued in 2020, as Paul Miller Racing claimed victory at the Rolex 24 At Daytona and secured the Michelin Endurance Cup title, firmly establishing itself among IMSA's elite teams.
The Switch to BMW and Championship Success
A pivotal new chapter began in 2022 with the team's transition to the BMW M4 GT3. The partnership delivered immediate results, as Paul Miller Racing captured the IMSA Sprint Cup Championship in its debut season with BMW.
- The success accelerated in 2023, a record-setting year in which the team earned five GTD class victories.
- In 2024, Paul Miller Racing stepped up to the highly competitive GTD PRO category.
- For 2025, the team expanded to its first full-season two car GTD PRO program.
- At the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona, the team strengthened its endurance effort with additional BMW drivers.
Beyond racing, Paul Miller Racing also offers driver coaching, aftermarket performance tuning, and exclusive ride-along and race weekend experiences, connecting fans and clients directly to the world of professional sports car racing.
